Cuan Saor Women’s Refuge and Support Services

Cuan Saor supports women & children who are experiencing or have experienced Domestic Abuse, defined as Physical, Emotional, Sexual and/ or Financial abuse in an intimate relationship or a close family relationship.

The service provides the following supports:

• Refuge accommodation
• Support and Information
• Outreach clinics in Carrick-on-Siuir, Tipperary town, Cashel, Killenaule, Ballingarry and Clonmel
• Court Support
• Childcare services
• 24-hour Freephone helpline
• Counselling
• Training and Awareness Raising for other agencies

Cuan Saor provides a range of supports for children and young people who are living or have lived with Domestic Abuse. It also delivers workshops to local schools and youth groups on ‘Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships’.

Eligibility: Women who are experiencing Domestic Abuse and their children, 0 – 17 years

Referrals: Self-referrals by phone, help-line or drop-in. Referrals are also taken from agencies
