Boys’ Brigade

The Boys’ Brigade is committed to supporting children and young people reach their full potential by providing opportunities to meet together and engage in a range of fun and developmental activities and experiences. Members develop skills, build confidence, make friends, take responsibility and are encouraged to make a real difference in their communities, reflecting the Christian values of the organisation. At local level, the units are known as ‘Companies’ and are part of the local Church of Ireland. Children are assigned to different ‘sections’ in the company, according to age group. In Co. Tipperary, there are 2 Boys’ Brigade companies, in Nenagh and Roscrea, respectively.

Target group: Boys aged 5 – 18 years
