Clonmel Youth Information Centre (WSTCYS)

The Clonmel Youth Information Centre (Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service) provides a free and confidential service for the youth of Clonmel. The centre provides a wide range of information such as Education, Travel/Emigration, Employments Rights, Health, Apprenticeships. It has public Internet Access where young people can come and practice for the Driver Theory Test on its computers. Specific services provided include:

• Affordable CV and Photocopying service provided
• Information on Careers as well as posting up Job Vacancies on jobs board weekly
• Providing Outreach and promotion to all Schools in the Local Community and to anyone who work with young people
• Networking and Interagency work with other service providers
• Working with young people in a safe environment
• Information available on third level education and training courses

Eligibility: There is an Open Door policy for all young people, aged 12 – 25 years.

Referrals: Self Referral; referral by schools, parents and community youth groups.
