HSE Primary Care aims to deliver a universal integrated service for health needs presenting in the community, with the aim of Prevention, Early Intervention and Diagnosis. There are 8 Primary Care Teams in the North of the county and 10 Primary Care Teams in the South of the county. The HSE Primary Care Team provides the following services:
- GP service
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech & Language Therapy
- Public Health Nurse
- Home Help
There is a Network of other services available to support the Primary Care Team including Psychology, Audiology, Podiatry, Community Health Doctors, Dentistry, Dietetics, and Ophthalmology.
Target Group: All members of community
Referral: Referral by appointment through GP.
