Templemore Community Services Centre offers a community based support service to adults, families and children in Templemore and surrounding areas. Support is offered around a number of issues including housing, finances and budgeting, relationships, domestic abuse, mental health difficulties, substance abuse, family support, parenting, and life story work. Support is tailored to each individual client, and onward referrals to other services are made where appropriate. The Community Social Worker is available by phone, or to meet one to one in the Centre, or at a client’s home, depending on what suits best. At various times during the year, group programmes are offered to parents and children.

Target group: Adults aged 18 years and upwards in need of support; families, parents, and children, aged 0 – 18 years: members of the Traveller community.

Eligibility criteria: Living in Templemore or surrounding areas.

Referral: Self-referrals; family referrals; referrals from professionals; Referrals taken by phone or in person, or in writing using the referral form which is available from reception.
