A Men’s Shed is a dedicated, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities.
All Men’s Sheds are independent and self-autonomous, and the range of activities carried out by sheds can differ from one to the next. Most sheds engage in activities such as woodwork, gardening, carpentry and community work. However, there are more special interests sheds that focus on things like music, fishing and restoration work.
Public playgrounds in the county are located in the towns and villages in the table below. In the cases where playgrounds are attached to particular communities, these are not included.

Tipperary Museum of Hidden History is the Local Authority Museum telling the story of Tipperary.
The museum offers a state-of-the-art visitor experience in the centre of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East. Completely re-imagined and redesigned in 2019, the new Museum brings Tipperary’s rich hidden history vividly to life through characters, stories and one of the largest museum collections in Ireland. There are free guided tours, workshops on history and archaeology, and Art and Craft based on seasons and traditions in the Irish calendar.
